History
The construction of the Loriguilla reservoir, on the Túria river, forced the relocation of the villages of Loriguilla and Domeño. Domeño Viejo, on the shore at the head of the reservoir, was evacuated and partly demolished, and the population settled in a new village further east, near Llíria and Casinos. Some residents moved to Marines.
Economy
Dryland farming (cereals, onions and tubers), beekeeping and a small industry making soft drinks, Christmas gift boxes and metalwork continue.
