For thousands of Camp de Túria residents the metro is the easiest way to commute to work or study in Valencia. Here’s what you need to know about Metrovalencia, the network run by FGV (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana).

Which towns have a metro station

  • Line 1: reaches Bétera, one of its northern termini.
  • Line 2: links Llíria (terminus), Benaguasil, La Pobla de Vallbona and L’Eliana with Valencia, stopping at several residential estates along the way.
  • Line 9: runs to Riba-roja de Túria, its western terminus.

Other towns in the area — such as Vilamarxant, Náquera and Serra — are connected to Valencia by metropolitan bus (MetroBus).

Tickets and fares

Fares depend on the number of zones you travel through. You can buy single tickets from station machines, but if you travel often a rechargeable card or monthly pass is better value. Children and some groups are eligible for discounts or free travel under current rules.

Tip: fares and discounts change frequently. Always check the official Metrovalencia website before you travel.

Travel tips

  • Outside peak hours trains run less frequently on the outer sections: check timetables in the official app.
  • Weekends and public holidays have special timetables.
  • Many stations in the area have nearby parking — handy if you live on an outlying estate.
  • Bikes are allowed with time restrictions.

Disruptions

During engineering works or service suspensions, FGV usually provides replacement buses. TuriaTV publishes notices affecting the area in our Service Guides section.
